CASS BLITZ 2024_ISCAS Edition
For the 2024 CASS Blitz, two ports network with the following topics:
- 1. Two-Port Network Parameters
- Overview: Introduces the concept of two-port networks, focusing on different types of parameters used to characterize them (Z, Y, H, G, S parameters).
- 2. Impedance Parameters (Z-parameters)
- Overview: Focuses on impedance parameters that relate voltages and currents at the ports.
- 3. Admittance Parameters (Y-parameters)
- Overview: Covers admittance parameters, which are the inverse of impedance parameters
- 4. Hybrid Parameters (H-parameters)
- Overview: Discusses hybrid parameters used in transistor amplifiers.
- 5. Transmission Parameters (ABCD-parameters)
- Overview: Explores ABCD parameters, also known as transmission parameters, typically used in transmission lines.
- 6. Scattering Parameters (S-parameters)
- Overview: Focuses on scattering parameters commonly used in RF and microwave systems.
- 7. Interconversion of Two-Port Parameters
- Overview: Details the process of converting between different two-port parameters.
- 8. Applications of Two-Port Networks
- Overview: Discusses practical applications of two-port networks, such as filters, amplifiers, and transmission lines.
